Louder Than My Demons

Welcome to the first Demon Cut — no polish, no mercy, just truth.

This week I carve into Zakk Wylde’s Book of Shadows (1996) — the album that pulled me through some of the darkest mornings of my life. This isn’t Zakk the shredder or Ozzy’s hired gun. This is Zakk stripped bare, heavy without distortion, bleeding soul into every line.

I break down the songs that cut me the deepest (Between Heaven & Hell, Way Beyond Empty, Dead as Yesterday, I Thank You Child) and talk about how this record became survival fuel when I had nothing else.

If you’ve ever leaned on music to carry you through pain, this one’s for you.

⚡ That’s the cut — take it and bleed with it. ⚡
